Rachel Nataneli is an experienced attorney who has litigated high conflict divorces and family law cases since 2008. 

Prior to starting her own practice, Rachel headed a legal project at Brooklyn Legal Services, representing victims of abuse in family law and divorce proceedings, handling distribution of marital property and debts, custody, visitation, child and spousal support and immigration. Rachel also served as co-chair of the Brooklyn Branch of the Lawyers Committee Against Domestic Violence from 2015 through 2020, and in that role has worked on court reform and expansion of services for pro se litigants and victims of domestic violence. In 2015, Rachel trained as a mediator and has since been involved in utilizing a more collaborative process to resolve family law disputes. Since then, Rachel has mediated numerous family law conflicts, helping parties find solutions that work best for their individual circumstances.

Education

Rachel Nataneli graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University where she received bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics.  Rachel received her juris doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, and was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Award for academic excellence and the Inspire! Award for her dedication to public interest work post-graduation.
